BIOGRAPHY

Hi, I'm Yu Kai 👋, an aspiring cybersecurity professional with a passion for innovation and security. I have about 2-3 years of experience in the field, and I hope to become a penetration tester in the red team. However, I believe there is still much more for me to learn, and that learning is a lifelong journey. I may not be the best in what I do, but I work towards that goal with every step I take.

Ever since when I was in Primary 5, at the age of 11, I have been fascinated by how computers work, and even more intrigued by how hackers hack these intrinsically designed machines. I was introduced to the world of ethical hacking by my close friend then, who he himself was quite well versed in the topic. Since then, I have been intrigued by how both white and black hackers think and act, and was surprised at how so much so called unethical "hackers" were able to hack into systems and applications. Thus, I hope to become a cybersecurity professional in the future, safeguarding the collective data of innocent people and ultimately building a more secure and safe digital haven for everyone.

Whether I'm working on a new project, studying for tests, or just playing sports with friends, I put in effort in all that I do. I believe commitment and responsibility play a huge part in bringing out an individual’s full potential, and I believe that putting in effort in something never fails.
